The second floor of the building will offer a traditional library environment with facilities for quiet study and reading. The ideal place to escape the city centre.

Adult Non-Fiction
We will combine our non-fiction and reference collections to make a single, powerful information resource.

We've also invested in a wide selection of online reference collections which you can access from one of our computers or from home.
Self Issue
You will be able to issue and return items quickly and easily; check items already out on loan; pay overdue charges and loan charges for story cassettes, DVDs and CDs.

Library staff will be available at all times to show you how to use these services.
Directories, annuals and yearbooks
These reference books will continue to be held separately from the main collection of information books.
Newspapers
Trade journals and more academic titles will be accommodated on the second floor of the library. Leisure periodicals and newspapers will be made available close to the cafe.
Toilet
An accessible toilet will be available on each floor and there will be baby change facilities on floors one and three.
