The first floor of the building, accessed directly from the Grand Arcade, will offer a wide range of reading services for children and adults in a lively setting.

Children's Library
The largest loan collection of children's books and audio-visual materials in Cambridgeshire. Extensive collections of children's books in other languages and in large print format will also be available.

Regular events for children including baby rhyme-times, story times, author visits and the annual summer reading challenge.
Adult Fiction
We're committed to the best in new fiction. Your recommendations form an important part of our stock acquisition.
Teen Fiction
A constantly changing collection of the best titles for teenagers including graphic novels and a range of teenage interest magazines.
Self Issue
You will be able to issue and return items quickly and easily; check items already out on loan; pay overdue charges and loan charges for story cassettes, DVDs and CDs.

Library staff will be available at all times to show you how to use these services.
Quick Pick
For those in a hurry - an extensive new range of adult fiction and non-fiction books.
Entrance
The new entrance will be via the first floor of the Grand Arcade.
Self Return
Return your loan items without the need to queue using one of our new easy to use kiosks.

We will continue to provide books in a variety of media for our visually impaired users.
Toilet and Baby Change Facilities
An accessible toilet will be available on each floor and there will be baby change facilities on floors one and three.
